Hotel Seagull, Calangute

The hotel offered nice, clean, and quiet rooms, which suited our needs perfectly, although there was a slight delay in check-in. The staff was helpful and friendly, providing service comparable to a five-star without the high price tag. The location was very convenient, close to the beach and souvenir shops, though there were occasional language barriers. The dining experience was satisfactory, with some basic options available. Overall, a functional and value-for-money choice.

The hotel provides a sophisticated feel with very clean rooms, though the view from the small balcony overlooks a busy lane. The service was initially perceived as 'off' but improved during the stay. My stay at this hotel was during the peak season of Christmas. The room was over the bar area, which was very lively and quite noisy every night, with a large screen showing football, not conducive to a restful night's sleep. However, the hotel was spotless, the cleanest I've ever stayed in India, and the rooms were large, clean, and secure with an excellent bathroom.

I couldn't have asked for a better location as the hotel is conveniently just 5 minutes from the beach and surrounded by numerous shops and dining options. The rooms were not only spotlessly clean but also gave off a sophisticated vibe, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The staff went out of their way to assist me, rescuing me from potential cab price scams, which was a major relief. However, the dining facilities, although not included, were excellent, offering healthy salads.
